It may sound incredibly boring, but I don't want to move far at all when I get into the world on my own. Ohio is the perfect place for me.
I like seeing the distinct changes between seasons. Winter is my favorite, and I couldn't see myself living in a place where it's hot in December. That just doesn't make sense in my mind!
Mostly, I want to stay in Ohio for my friends. I don't get to spend nearly enough time with them, and they're always bugging me about "when are you coming home?" and "I haven't hung out with you in forever!". I'd like to live somewhere where I can visit my friends regularly. In a perfect world, I'd live in those nice apartments by Easton with all of my friends. It'd be like a sitcom, everyone dropping in on each other whenever they felt like it and maybe even having a laugh track.
I don't want use all in the same apartment, just the same building. I love my friends, but I've gotta have my personal space sometimes.
As for as things I'd need to feel the most comfortable, a fast internet connection is the first. I've got so many friends and family around the country that I keep in contact with by Skype, Facebook, and online gaming. I need a connection that would let me reliably communicate with them, and AT&T's DSL is not an option.
One thing I've always dreamed of having is a Tempur-Pedic mattress.
It's a total luxury that I don't need, but I would love to have one. They're really expensive, but if I have one of those, I'd feel like I "made it" in life somehow and become a success. It sounds corny, but have you tried one of these beds? It's like sleeping on clouds but more comfortable.
Also, if my dream apartment (where all my friends live) requires me to mow the lawn, I want a riding lawnmower.
Unnecessary? Probably. But I've spent enough summer afternoons mowing lawns with a crappy push mower to know that I never want to do it again. If I've got to mow lawns, I'm doing it while sitting on my butt and listening to my mp3 player.
